There is always a close connection between the thoughts of the mind or feelings of the heart and the words we utter. “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”. However, there are times when our consciousness is negative, and we should be careful lest we intensify the undesirable by speaking of it. We may feel discouraged, but when we speak words of courage, hope, and faith, the words will act to lift the consciousness to a higher level.
