Wearing glasses will not hinder you from becoming nor being a good photographer. ... If blind people can be photographers, there isn't a thing to stop someone who only needs glasses. In general, I prefer to wear contacts when I shoot with my DSLR since it's more comfortable to use the viewfinder without glasses.
